From Dec mid to Mar mid the area gets covered with snow in which the landscapes around here resemble as if the pieces of heaven. On the way while driving to Kalinchok there are beautiful townships to pass oo are; Dhulikhel – Panchkhal – Dolalghat – Khadi Chaur – Mude – Kharidhunga ana etc and of course the district headquarters of the Dolakha District is Charikot. Next to Charikot bazaar there’s the famous Bhimsen temple in Dolakha bazaar which can be visited on the day you reach here. And if you want to extend your trip there are a couple of very attractive places like; trip to Jiri – a beautiful town nicknamed as Zurich in Asia, Sailung – the place of 100 hillocks etc. In this way, you may extend one more day to 2-3 days depending how much do you enjoy the sceneries and how long holiday have you got.

Airport reception and transfer to hotel in Thamel. A 3 star or similar standard hotel will be booked. If you would like to upper grade hotels, that are available but cost might change.

Have your breakfast and we transfer you to the bus station which is a little far from your hotel location and isn't really connected with the public bus services. So, as the service included service, we transfer you to the bus station on a car.
Charikot; about 125km far from Kathmandu; is a beautiful mountainous town as well as the district headquarters of Dolakha District. Araniko Highway that passes to several small but beautiful and active townships such as the Dhulikhel town; a famous valley tourists hub - Panchkhal valley; a pleasant valley with highly fertile paddy and maize fields, Doldlghat town; a popular stopover of the hundred, thousands of passengers everyday for delicious fish curry from the cold waters of the river named Melamchi whose waters are glacial fed from the Langtang Himalayan range. Khadi chaur is a popular lunch spot and Mude and Kharidhunga are very scenic places to pass to before Charikot.
To enjoy all the sceneries and landscape vistas, we would recommend to take a privately reserved vehicle depending on the number of people in your team from a car to jeep or van or any suitable vehicle type. This will add slightly on your cost.
There're nice hotels available and also the beautiful sightseeing of the town itself and the grandeur scenery of the snow peaks including the Gaurishankar. This is a holy and historical 7 thousand meter peak in the Rolwalling Himalayan Range marking of which Nepal Standard Time (NST) is calculated too.
Hotel check in and strolling nearby is highly rewarded activity to do.
In the morning drive to Kalinchok (1.5hrs) by jeep/s. Upon arrival at Kuri village, that is the base of Kalinchok area guest house check in and have lunch. After lunch visit around including the cable-car ride to the temple area.
You may leave the Kalinchok area by 8 to 9am, after your breakfast and if more visit or take photo are to be done. Upon arrival at Charikot, but to Kathmandu almost will be stand by. So, take the one as available seats. Reach to Kathmandu at the same hotel. Free evening.
May be you would want to visit Kathmandu city. So, do the city tours. The tourists attract sites are: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupati Nath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Bhaktapur Durbar square, Patan Durbar square etc.
