Itineraries

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1440m.)|Hotel

Airport pick up and transfer to hotel. Hotel will be as per your choice from 3 star standard in Thamel to 5 star super deluxe. Room allocation and free time. In the evening we welcome you at Nepali typical restaurants for dinner with your guide, company representative and you/your friends.

Day 02

Arrival Pokhara (850m)|Hotel

Pokhara-the famous lake city situated 205km west of Kathmandu is well connected by fine road drive (takes 5-6hrs) as well as 30min by flight. Please make a choice as your convenience. Either of your transport mode, pick up and hotel escort is made from bus park or airport. Room allocation is followed by welcome drinks and later free time on which you may ramble by the lake side or just visit the lakeside bazaar. Evening on your won.

Day 3

Pokhara to Ulleri (2070m)|Lodge|Full Board

morning drive (1hr 20 min) to Nayapool on the bus or mini bus or jeep according to the group size. We leave the vehicle and begun the actual hike passing a suspension bridge over a stream. Then another bigger river – this is Modi River which originates at Annapurna Base Camp; to cross to. Here we take the left hand side trail and follow the bank of Andhi Khola. The trail is easier mostly and passes some pleasant small villages such as Ram Ghat, Sudame, Hile etc. Upto Tirkedhunga (1575m.), there is not much ascending. From Nayapool it is a 4 to 5 hrs walk. So, if there is time and another an hour or so trek is no problem, then it is suggested to go a little further to Ulleri (2070m.). From Tirkedhunga, it is a steep up trail for 1 hr and quarter. The view from Ulleri is wider than Tirkedhunga.

Day 4

Trek to Ghorepani (2820m.)|Guest House|Full Board

trek to Ghorepani (2820m.). From Ulleri, a short uphill and then an easier trail providing a good view of Mt. Annapurna South and Hiunchuli will proceed into forest area. Today it is mostly the trail runs through the forested area. We may find more than one pleasant places for journey breaks with tea-stops. Total 5 to 5:30 hrs trek. Ghorepani is a quite bigger hill-town. You are welcomed for night stay in a very comfortable lodge with the amazing view of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range.

Day 5

Visit Poon Hill (3210m) & trek to Tadapani (2682m)|Guest House|Full Board

Morning visit to Poon Hill (3210m.). It is an hour walk to go to there and started normally at predawn, making sure that the sun-rising scenery is not missed. The sun rises earlier in Spring days than in Autumn time. So, depending on your trek season, you may have to start the walk with flash light, trekking stick and warm/wind breaker jackets.
At Poon Hill you may spend 20 to 30 min and then start to way back to Lodge which will take 25 to 30 min on return. Breakfast at Lodge and then day trek to Tadapani (2682m). It is a pleasant and short trek day – around 4hrs. Mostly you will be walking through a pleasant forest and the trail is mixed of easy up and down hill walks. We often find tea shops at good location for the views or just make a good journey break. Ovenight at Grand View Lodge in Tadapni.

Day 6

Trek to Chhomrong (2050m)|Guest House|Full Board

Trek to Chhomrong, start with easy descending while having grand view of Fishtail and Hiunchuli. Sometime later, the trail becomes steeper down, but sceneries are unparallel. About an hour and 15 minutes we cross a suspension bridge and the trail heads to north which is not descending. It is a mixed of short up and down. It is a long walk even through the forest sometimes. A landside site is passed before to arrive to a tea-shop. From the tea-shop Chhomrong is about an hour way. Check in at lodge and enjoy the rest of times visiting around. It is a prosperous Gurung settlement.

Day 7

Trek to Dovan (2600m)|Lodge|Full board

From Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310m), it is about 4 hrs walk. And from here to Dovan 1 hour and half more. The trail is full of brief uphill and downhill walk. It is filled with several natural attractions to explore or enjoy the grandeur vistas. We will pass the thick forest of bamboo – a multi useful plant grown all over Nepal. Majestic view of Mt. Hiunchuli, Mt. Fishtail with its new face, Mardi Peak etc can be seen. We check in lodge and can have rest until dinner time.

Day 8

Trek to Machhapuchhere Base Camp (3705m)|Lodge|Full Board

Passing small settlements like Deaurali in 35 minutes, Himalaya (1 hr beyond Dovan), Hinku (45 min), and finally to MBC in 2 hour. This is in Annapurna Sanctuary area. In all four-direction of MBC, there will be snow covered Himalayan peaks. The top of Mt. Fishtail seems very attractive and Annapurna III, Gangapurna etc. make a glorious presence at stone-throw distance! We check in lodge here and rest. It is suggested to take a walk around but with your guide is always safe!

Day 9

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)|Lodge|Full Board

Trek is not much today, just enjoy the views and strolling, rambling more. One hour and 20 min trek to brings you here at Annapurna Base Camp from Machhapuchhare Base Camp. Upon arrival here, room check in and spend the day at free; making photos and enjoying the superb view of Mt. Annapurna I (8091m) and its all family members (from Annapurna I to IV). From here it is often got to see that mountaineers climbing with full range of climbing gears on some easier (trekking) peaks to the Mt. Annapurna I.

The moon (if it is the full-moon time) or the stars at night seen from here so special.

Day 10

Trek return to Bamboo (|Lodge|Full Board

Enjoy your breakfast watching the sun-rising on the giant Himalayan peaks. The enormous slope of Annapurna I with 8091 meter peak makes particular glow of sunrise hour. And stroll around until for sometime. Then having the memory full, we start our trek back to MBC and onto Bamboo retracing the same trail.

Day 11

Trek to Jhinudanda (1780m)|Guest House|Full Board

Upto Chhomrong follow the same trail back. From Chhomrong, we go to downhill trail taking steep descending fork to the left-hand side. Jhinudanda is 45min away where we can get to experience the natural pool of hot water. It is good to try out.

Day 12

Trek to Pothana (1990m)|Guest House|Full Board

This is a classical side excursion, escaping a direct reach to Pokhara (if time available, but beautiful)!
After Jhinudanda we reach to Landrung village via New Bridge in around 2 hrs. Tolka is another an hour and little more walk from Landrung. Pitam Deaurali is 1.5 hour from Tolkha. Pothana is another an hour from Deaurali. Visit around on the free time and dinner will be the last dinner of the trip.

Day 13

Trek to Phedi and short drive to Pokhara|Hotel|MAP

A short trek to Phedi (about 2hrs) and 40 min drive to Pokhara. Check in same hotel as before and enjoy the comfort of good hotel after several days.
All the staffs will go to Kathmandu, except the guide. Upon arrival at hotel, enjoy the hot shower, shaving etc. Then go for lunch on your own. Rest and refreshing day!

Day 14

Back to Kathmandu|Hotel|BB

Morning drive to Kathmandu or fly on your preferable time. Transfer to Hotel and free time. Make evening walk by your hotel area and pick up a best restaurant for your final dinner in Kathmandu.

Day 15

Fly back home!

Breakfast and get your transfer to airport for your flight back home on the given times. Happy See off....
