This 7 day long trip is more like pilgrim's journey but combined with adventure of seeing different landscape, experiencing beautiful mountain walking as well as meeting indigenous people with unique cultural baseline. It's a very pleasant trip, except one full and another half day's hiking along the steep mountain slope. But the tough walking is superbly rewarded with amazing vistas including the high altitude lakes. The trip can be extended in any form such as driving all the way to Lumbini - to see Lord Buddha's Birthplace after the mountain journey or visit the Chitwan National Park one of the world's most beautiful National Park of just return to Kathmandu relax and fly back your home.  It all depends on your desires and readiness.

Itineraries

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu | Hotel

Arrival in Kathmandu International airport. Pick up and transfer to hotel. Rook check in and free time. In the evening, welcome diner in one of the typical Nepali restaurants nearby your hotel.

Day 02

Kathmandu to Dhunche|Hotel

Dhunche (2030M/6-7hrs) drive by a privately reserved jeep.
After breakfast at your hotel, the exciting scenic road-drive begins passing Kathmandu valley through Kakani-a popular hill-station for mountain view located about 25KM from Kathmandu. The drive keeps going along the snakey road which is black topped and nice; providing a true vistas of middle hilly part of Nepal. Travelers amazed seeing the people at work that shows how traditional farming equipment Nepalese still do use. The season being right after the monsoon, huge terraces.
Stay at Hotel in Dhunche town.

Day 03

Dhunche to Sing Gompa|Guest House

Easy hiking processes after breakfast at the hotel through the town. In 30min time we cross a river coming down from the Gosaikunda Lake. Afterward, the entire hike of the day will be made along the long slop of Sing Gompa.

Stop on the way for lunch is possible at various places. The views of today from Dhunche we can see some unnamed peaks from Tibet as well the snow peaks in Nepal ie Gabesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, etc. It's a lush green forest walking most of the day.

Day 04

Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda|Guest House

Our journey begins after breakfast. Today's destination - Gosaikunda situated at 4300m|14106ft is a bit higher than we had to have been. So, we process slowly, spending time as much as possible on hiking. A lot of great vistas can be captured there by the trekking route. Lots of birds can be spotted. Local people and their daily life can be observed. Taking photos is a great fun, just ask the people and get it done, people don't mind. Lauribina is an ideal lunch stop, then easy route for an hour is to Gosaikunda.
Later see the Gosaikunda lake and carry one puja of Shiva statue. If interested, dipping into the holy waters of Gosaikunda is possible, but it will be pretty colder. So, see with your guide if after dipping in you may have a place by the fireplace in your guest house where you're going to spend the night.

Day 05

Return to Sing Gompa|Guest House

It's a short hike mostly easy descending. So, you may spend more times in Gosaikunda vising as many places as possible. For better view, people hike to Surya Kunda, try if intersed!

Day 06

Return to Dhunche|Hotel

It's a long descending, so take it easy and process slowly. At times, the descending becomes quite difficult, but easy again! Take trekking poles and walk by the guide. Yet, the difficult sections are just 10, 15 minutes altogether. Otherwise, it's a pleasant walking in the nature abundance!

Day 07

Drive back to Kathmandu|Hotel

Drive back to Kathmandu for 5-6 hrs and rest.

Day 08

Home Sweet Home..

Transfer to airport on the given time and Happy See Off!!
