Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu | Hotel | Welcome dinner

International airport pick up and transfer to Hotel. Hotel will be as per your choice from the below ‘price column’ and later room registration. Then some free time to rest/refreshing. If there is time, you may enjoy a free walk around your hotel or visit some internet cafes, or book shops etc. In the evening around 6:30 we go to a Nepali traditional restaurant where we get to eat the typical Nepalese cuisines and some selected folk dances performed by the renowned artists! The good night!

Day 2

Kathmandu city tour | BB

It is a busy day that is started by breakfast around 8am. Later your tour guide will greet you at the reception and escort to the City Center (is called Hanuman Dhoka or the Kathmandu Durbar square and famously known as the site of Kumari) on car. You may take enough time to visit each of your things of interest. Then drive to Swyambhunath Stupa which is aptly called ‘monkey temple’. There is the oldest stupa of Nepal and has Buddha eyed famous stupa. It takes about an hour to visit the everything of here and the next destination we drive to Boudha Nath. This is located on the north-east corner of Kathmandu and has beautiful, famous Buddha stupa. The place would serve as the first destination of the Tibetans who would come to Nepal in the past, and still it has the same glory as hundreds of thousands Tibetans and other Buddhists Nepalese do pray here at this glorious stupa. This place is nicknamed as the “little Tibet in Nepal”.

Boudhanath is a good place for lunch as there are many beautiful restaurants located and most of them offer an excellent viewing spot to the stupa. Later visited the Pashupatinath temple – one of the holiest places for Hindus around the world and famously knows as the site of Hindus cremation site! Then drive to Hotel and free time.

Day 3

Kathmandu-Nagarkot | BB

Morning breakfast and drive to Nagarkot. The drive takes about an hour and 20 min – the distance is 32km from Kathmandu and it is situated at an elevation of around 2000 meter from the sea level.

Upon arrival in Nagarkot at your choice hotel (please have look the below “price column for your choice), room registration procedure is completed and then free time. Later lunch and again free time. In the evening you will be escorted the viewing point for sun-setting scenery. Dinner and good night!

Day 4

Nagarkot - Bhaktapur - Dhulikhel |BB

Before breakfast, you are asked to wait at the viewing spot for sun-rising scenery. Later breakfast and some free time. Then drive back to the Bhaktapur city for sightseeing of it. This town is the oldest town of Kathmandu valley and is regarded as the cleanest one. Still has maintained excellent traditional outlook. The most expensive entry fee, USD 15 per person which is included on the below price quote. So, enjoy a full length of explorations of here!

After lunch here, drive around an hour to Dhulikhel. Hotel as you choice. Check in and free time. Similar Himalayan vistas to be enjoyed and sun setting scenery if still special from here. Dinner and good night!

Day 5

Dhulikhel - Patan city tour & fly to Pokhara | BB

In the morning enjoy the sun-rising scenery and the good views of the snowy peaks. The peaks we see from here are mainly of the Rolwalling range of Nepal. The main peak of the range is Gaurishankar. This writer was born and grown up near the base camp of this mountain – the beauty of this Himalayan peak is unmatchable and always so special! You will fee this too!

Breakfast and drive to Kathmandu, we go to Patan city for sightseeing. This Patan is also called as Lalitpur literally meaning is “fine arts and architecture”. This is equally interesting place where we can see that how much the art and architecture of the medieval period Nepal was flourished. Dozens of iconic monuments, courtyards, water tapes, temples, etc. are scattered within a small area.

From Patan, drive directly to airport and fly to Pokhara. Landing at airport, you will be transferred to your choice hotel.

Day 6

Excursion day in Pokhara | BB

The sightseeing activities are divided in 2. Before lunch and after lunch. Before lunch we visit the International Mountain museum.

After breakfast, we take a short drive to the Museum and start to explore of this vicinity. It is a place where hundreds of collections have been made tirelessly. Out of them some are international collections as well such as Taiwanese, Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese/Tibetans etc. They represent not only the mountainous scenery, but also the all aspects of human life and history. Certainly a great location to spend around 2 to 3 hours of time!

The detail of Himalayan peaks with name and further chronology certainly will attract you to visit the Himalayan base camps. After it, drive to Lakeside for your lunch.

And later of your lunch it begins the IInd leg of the day. We sightsee more places, such as of the Davi’s Fall, Gupteshwor cave, Tibetan Tashilug Refugee camp etc.

This is a beautiful site with collection of a water fall and some unique creations of the Mother Nature. Take your time to explore all of it. The next destination is the Gupteshwor Cave, it has 2 sections – you are suggested to explore all of it. Later we go to the Tashilumpho Tibetan Refugee Centre where we get to see the people at work – weaving carpets or the rugs – this can be an expensive quality souvenir if you would like to buy for back at home. Next destination after here is the World Peace Pagoda. Here is a beautifully built Stupa or the Pagoda which is supposed quite holy too. It has possessed with Buddha’s remaining (a teeth). And another important point of being here is the wonderful views of the Himalayan peaks with Phewa lake and the Pokhara town all in one sight! So, the visit to here is certainly a rewarding!

You may take time as you like here and then a short trekking (20 minutes) through the Queen Forest down on the Shore of Phewa Lake. This is the other part of the lake where have been located some beautiful restaurants as well. We can enjoy lunch having tranquil view of the lake. Later we take the boat ride to Lakeside having stopped at the Barahi temple for few minutes, this is an interesting small Island on the lake. Later enjoy shopping the free time in/around Lakeside!

Day 7

Sarangkot Sunrise hiking - Pokhara | BB

Early morning, drive for 40 to 50 minutes to the viewing point in Sarangkot. This is a wonderful location to enjoy the rising sun sceneries. The Himalayan peaks will change the color golden – red as the morning sun rays hit on them. You can make some of the best photos – people sell in Kathmandu as post card! Spending about an hour or so, drive back to Hotel in Lakeside.

Enjoy breakfast, leisurely. Free afternoon, spend the day at strolling around lakeside!

Day 8

Return fly to Kathmandu | BB

Take the morning flight to Kathmandu. Airport pick up and transfer to Hotel. Free afternoon, suitable souvenirs shopping.

Day 9

Fly back to Home

Take breakfast and get ready to drive to airport on the given time and happy see off! Fly home!!
