Upper Mustang was a famous Kingdom within the Kingdom of Nepal! The vastly extended mountainous land is barren but beautiful, dry but distinct with marvelous views. Ages old monasteries remained almost in every village we pass by display lovely examples of amazing ancient architect and beautiful paintings on the wall or in celling. The skillfully designed mud roofed houses where extended families live which are important social structures of the remote Himalayan area. The pale hills and hillocks bear just a fragile eco system; therefore in order to minimize human movement the government has limited visitors. Having extremely even land formation from deeply cut ravine to snowcapped Himalayan peaks – all make Upper Mustang a unique place on earth and definitely a lifetime visit!

The itinerary presented here is based on jeep drive. Specially tailored so as to suitable for all age group and fitness people, you may take it without any hesitation. There are beautiful comfortable lodges|hotel at the beginning and ending of the trip. As trip advances further you might feel somewhat basic accommodation but its not for many days. The days' views and village or monastery visit will reward you back of your every penny you pay for.
