Their firsthand knowledge ensures a well-balanced itinerary with realistic walking distances, proper acclimatization, updated trail information, and genuine trip costs. Beginning in the spectacular Gokyo Valley, the journey leads you through a landscape of pristine turquoise lakes, the immense Ngozumpa Glacier—the largest glacier in Nepal—and the charming lakeside settlement of Gokyo. The ascent of Gokyo Ri rewards you with one of the finest panoramic viewpoints in the Himalayas, offering magnificent views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and numerous other snow-capped giants. Crossing the dramatic Cho La Pass, the trail continues into the legendary Everest Base Camp valley, where you experience the iconic Everest Base Camp itself and witness an unforgettable sunrise over Mount Everest from Kala Patthar.
The adventure reaches its ultimate highlight with the ascent of Island Peak (Imja Tse, 6189 m), one of Nepal’s most celebrated trekking peaks and an ideal introduction to Himalayan mountaineering.
