Overview
This trek came into existence right after the book of Peter Matthiessen’s “The Snow Leopard” published in 1979. After the publication, the outer world knew how backward the society is here with how full of nature and how ancient the entire region is. Back then a trip to Dolpo via Dhorpatan was a big expedition work. It used to be a month long trek and there were so listless hardships from finding porters to dealing with transportation as well as trek permits to entry tickets. But now time has changed; we have made it so simple, so accessible and one of the most fun-filled trips in the remote Dolpo on the west Nepal. We even run this trek for a group of 2 people; which means cost has been so affordable too! This trek is regarded as one of the most awesome treks on earth. Perhaps involves a lot of up and downhill walks, but a luminous journey of the heart – this is how the book concludes the summary of the entire travel story. And the glory still remained there unspoiled. Be a part of the travel here and witness what the writer had see and felt and enjoyed the differences. On top of everything, the amazing vistas are still there. The route is still one of the remotest and full of adventurous. This is one of the favorite routes of Alpine Exodus!
