Itinerary

Airport reception and transfer to hotel will be of 3 star standard (or as required standard) with breakfast (twin sharing). Room check-in and (depending on time) there will be a short meeting on which please check your trek permits, entry/exit dates, your insurance policy and the detail it covers with the emergency number to contact in case of emergency. If necessary anything, also please note down! The guide will be introduced in the same time and then it's a free time ahead on which you may check your equipment, supplies. Kathmandu is the last good place to add if anything is short-falling. If needed advices of the guide or the representative of Alpine Exodus may available happily.

Take your breakfast before 8am and then get ready to drive to Pokhara. It's a 5-6hrs smooth driving along a beautiful highway called Prithivi Highway. Right now some sections of it are under improvement process, but expected to be completed soon. After the completion, it will be the Asian standard highway which means the driving will be a comfortable and the roadside sceneries will keep attracting all the travelers. The highway passes along the Trishuli River for quite while time. This river is very suitable for those who interest to white water rafting here in Nepal. So, its a common sighting to see a rafting trip being prepared on the bank of Trishuli river while sitting on your bus.

Also the journey to Pokhara will be like a good class for Nepal learners as it provides the representative vistas of mid-hill villages that are situated along a busy highway. You may get to understand the locals daily chorus, the school running children or busily working a farmer and his family.

Lunch on the way, and upon arrival in Pokhara, hotel check in and there will be a free time in which you may stroll by the Lakeside or just rest. For evening, there're beautiful restaurants in the Lakeside.

Drive to Dhampus and trek starts. A scenic inclined trail leads through the pleasant forest of pines oaks etc to the north providing very nice views of the green hills, terraces and the snow mountains like Fishtail, Hiunchuli etc and the village area itself. It is about 3-4hrs trek, so today its being the first day on a trek in the mountain this should be good enough. For lunch we find a tea-house which are usually many at the Dhampus village. In between Dhampus to Pitam, there's not really a good one.

After breakfast by 8am and get ready to hit the trail. We make to Low Camp today that is situated at 3050m/10,000ft. Today's journey mostly with forests area where varieties of trees as well as rich in wild lives is passed. Clearing the forests area, we will have good views of snow mountains.

We make to High Camp today that is situated at 3600m, passing Badale Danda (3300m). The Badele Danda (hill) is probably a very good place for lunch break. By half-day today we notice that the vegetation changes from green and tall trees to dwarf pale bushes and then just the grasses. And it actually adds merit for the visitors providing by unbroken sighting of the snow mountains and Himalayan ranges.

It is the final destination of this trip for amazing close up views of Mt. Fishtail and Mardi Peak. Similarly it is a tough hiking too, about 1000m in a couple of hours. After this amazing moment, we take the return course. We go further down to Badale Danda having stopped at High Camp for lunch.

An easy down hill course. Every where has open views!

Most probably it will be a sharing jeep with the local people. Upon reaching Pokhara hotel check in and have a leisure time, later go for great dinner after the hard trek.

Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus/or as you wish.
