Nepal is also popularly known for its wonderful availability of world class Rafting and/or Kayaking opportunities. While a number of snow fed rivers; such as the Trishuli River, the Seti River, the Sun Koshi, the Kaligandaki, the Marshyangdi etc. etc. that run down through the hills of Nepal creating such a lucrative water sport, like Rafting or Kayaking in them. Different level of trips ranging from ‘Day trip’ to 2 nights/3 days are among many of them treat you the best! The longer river trips offer the best range of scenery and rapids and allow participants enough time to develop skills and friendships. Most long trips take from 8 to 12 days with a lot of time rafting in wilderness. If you have the time the choice is between the Karnali, the Sun Kosi and the Tamur. They are all classic rivers with exciting white water and excellent beaches. If you don’t have time to do a long trip, but still want to experience a multi-day trip there are several medium – length options. The rivers that lend themselves to medium length trips are the Trishuli, the Kali Gandaki, the Seti and the Marshyangdi. Short day trips are mainly run on the Trishuli, lose to Kathamndu but the Upper Sun Kosi and Bhote Kosi are also possibilities.
