Shivapuri is a popular hiking destination located in the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, which is situated in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. This national park is famous for its lush forests, diverse wildlife, and the picturesque views it offers of the Himalayan mountain range.
There are several trails within the national park, but the most common hike starts from Budhanilkantha, a famous temple known for its large sleeping Vishnu statue.
