Overview

This is a tailor-made exciting trekking, hiking and mountaineering trip in the Everest area of Nepal in a one go. This trip has been designed by our expert team of guides unlike to many others who just prepare the whole travel itinerary having looked at the Everest area or Gokyo Valley trek maps. Therefore out itineraries are much reliable, updated and offered genuine trip costs. The Gokyo valley from which an ascending to Gokyo Ri is always rewarded with amazing views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse and many other giant Himalayan peaks of the Khumbu and Makalu regions. The valley is also the house of probably the most unique series of lakes of high altitudes as well as one of the biggest glaciers in the world – Ngojumpa Glacier. Gokyo village located on the bank of Gokyo lake is probably the best picturesque place which appeals photographers around the world in many ways. Having visited all of them, we advance to Cho Lo (pass) that joins Gokyo valley to Everest Base Camp (EBC) valley. Continuing the successful ascent of the Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar, you will have the thrilling adventure of scaling the 6089M Island (or Imjstse) Peak before returning home with the Himalayan triumph. Enjoy the legendary sights of Mt. Everest from Kalapatthar and as well as try rambling on Everest Base Camp – to see how different the topography is. Our itinerary is excellent in terms of roaming to most of the famous nooks and corners of the Everest region and very importantly it is safe as provided ample acclimatizing rests. We have excellent equipment and skilled guides to accomplish trek mission. Once we take the mission we accomplish is with high dedication.

Itinerary

Kathmandu arrival (1350 M) by evening as normally the Dragon Air from HK does. Airport pick up and transfer to Hotel. Hotel will be in Thamel centrally located, but a quiet and comfortable of 3 star standard.
Kindly update me the flight number and landing time in the Kathamndu (TIA) airport.

Free day in Kathmandu. If you would like to go for city tours, that can be arranged. We in the office complete all the permits or anything that are remained to do. Generally everything is completed at beforehand of your arrival in Kathmandu. In the past we even had group/s arrival at the late evening like this via Dragon Air and next morning early fly to Lukla and begin the trek. That was done so because of the limited timetable available. But I can see that you have enough time available.

All the permits (trekking or mountaineering) we do get them ready before your arrival. Incase there remained anything, on this day is completed.

For the city tours we would suggest you: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath and Boudhnath temples in which you can spend 5-6 hrs. Return to Hotel and rest.

In the evening go for Welcome dinner to one of the finest Nepali typical restaurants where dinner is presented along with some of the best glances of Nepalese folk dances and by the local artists. Return Hotel and good night…

Early morning taking the breakfast prepared in a box, we drive to airport. Flight check in and get the boarding pass. Entering in to the waiting room, we take the breakfast with coffee or tea getting from the nearby. There are coffee shops.

Then fly (30 min) to Lukla (2830 M) with Tara Air (most probably). There is another airlines is giving good flight services as well, named Goma Airways with new aircrafts. Upon landing at the airport, we see our porters who help us to bring the luggage to the lodge nearby. It takes some 30 min to assort the loads to porters until which you could have the first cup of tea from the Khumbu region and soon we start the trek. Passing through the busy streets of Lukla bazaar, we reach to a famous gate that signs a leave of Lukla houses a famous mountaineering lady from the Sherpa community – named Mrs. Pasang Lhamu Sherpa. Further from here an easy descending eventually passing thru the sparse forest trail brings you a pleasant village of Chhoplung in less than 45 min. Thado Kosi; the lunch place of today is about an hour away.

The lunch place provides a good peeping view of Kusung Kangaroo peak on the direct north above the river head, it is a good to spend time here until lunch is prepared. On the way is the 4th Lake. The 5th lake itself is not that very amazing, but the views around and on the way do not match with anything. Mt. Cho Oyu (8188 M) starts soaring above just from the lake and seems like sky piercing. Stay at Gokyo. O/N at lodge/full board,
